The Balkan WASH Network is a network of member organizations from Albania, Germany, Macedonia and Romania, who share a common concern to promote a healthy environment for all and sustainable development policy and implementation. The network is open to other members, donors or strategic partners who share our vision and mission and want to contribute to the actions. Journalists for Human Rights (JHR), Republic of Macedonia is a non-profit, human rights research and information organization, which informs about and promotes alternatives to the negative human rights impacts in Macedonia. JHR initiate changes in behaviours, monitor the implementation of the legislation, lobby and inform about human rights issues, advocate and promote ‘avantgarde’ perspectives that lead to sustainable development.

Women in Development Shkoder, Albania, has long experience working in the field of human rights, good governance and participatory governance, anti-corruption, gender issues, environmental and health issues, informal education, social and economic integration of marginalised groups (such as Roma).

Women Engage for a Common Future (WECF) is an international network of over 150 women’s, environmental and health organizations implementing projects in 50 countries and advocating globally for a healthy environment for all. Since 15 years, WECF has been working in the Balkans on implementing projects on safe water and sustainable sanitation locally and advocating on national levels as well as in the frame of the Protocol on Water and Health.
